Inala (meaning 'peaceful place') is a 500 acre farm on Bruny Island, a 'Land for Wildlife' covenant-protected haven for wildlife including White Wallabies, and 94 species of bird including all 12 endemic bird species. Owner Tonia Cochran runs her farm - including a herd of Poll Hereford cattle (her girls!), cares for and rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildife, and operates wildlife and birding tours from here. Choose from two spacious and extremely comfortable self catering cottages built from Tasmanian timbers, Nairana Cottage (one bedroom with spa) and Inala Cottage (three bedroom, ideal for families). Make yourself at home, walk among this tranquil, ancient landscape, sit on your deck and watch the wonderful wildlife as it comes literally to within touching distance.
